About The Project
- Support in design and documentation: 30%
- Implementation of new solutions (under the supervision of seniors): 10%
- Work on tools (scripts, simple automations): 20%
- Call handling and first line support: 40%
You’re a perfect fit if:
- You have basic Linux system administration experience (1-2 years of internship or project/private experience welcome);
- You have a basic knowledge of ICT security and want to enhance it further;
- You are committed, eager to learn and open to new technologies;
- You are characterised by analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - even if you sometimes need the support of a more experienced team;
- You are available for emergencies (although the main responsibility for emergency action lies with the more experienced administrators, we still depend on your willingness to cooperate);
- You are fascinated by IT - you want to develop continuously in Linux, DevOps, and security.
You will be responsible for:
- Support in the administration of Linux servers and network devices under the guidance of experienced administrators;
- Participation in the use of monitoring and statistics tools;
- Gradual introduction to database administration: replication configuration, backup (backups/dumps) and other database maintenance tasks;
- Implementing and managing systems using Ansible (you will gain skills in orchestration and automation);
- Collaborate in the maintenance of system/network security (HIDS, VPN IPSec/SSL) - you will acquire knowledge of security principles and tools;
- Gaining experience in virtualisation, cloud and containerisation solutions;
- Co-creation of proxy environments and high-availability services (service clusters);
- Implementation of CI/CD solutions and integration with CDN;
- Supporting various IT departments in solving ongoing problems;
- Learning to optimise performance, security and service quality according to the needs of the organisation.
